About Us

The mission of Offinso Partners in Sustainable Development (OPSD) is to bring communities together in designing and implementing effective strategies to ensure judicious natural resource use, to promote gender equality, to reduce social disparity and to secure a fair development of all.

OPSD exists to promote community understanding and participation in sustainable social development for improved incomes and livelihood throughout the Offinso Municipality.

To become an institution capable of developing the business potentials and creating opportunities for the less privileged community members to be self-reliant and able to contribute to the larger society.
To serve as information, business advisory and resource center for people in communities and other organizations in development.

To mobilize Community Groups (Farmers and Artisanal) for capacity development and empowerment.
To create accessible business support services for Farmer and Artisanal Groups for increased production and improved incomes.
To identify and provide skills development trainings for jobless and extremely poor families embark on income generating activities for sustained incomes and self-sufficiency.
To introduce and support community groups to operate Village Savings and Loans Schemes.
Create effective and sustainable Networks and Partnerships for peer learning, linkages to national and international exchanges and markets.
